A best bitter with a touch of beech wood smoked malt, tested on every batch and certified below 10ppm by Murphy & Son. Two Great Taste stars and a Free From Gold say it holds its own well beyond the GF category. A genuinely interesting bitter that happens to be rigorously tested.
Taste
A gentle, fruity, well rounded ale. Made with 8 malts and 3 different English hops, with a touch of beech wood smoked malt lending a faint smokiness, combined with just the right amount of bitterness.

Sussex spring water, Barley, Wheat, Hops, Yeast
Testing: Every batch tested in house with R5 flow through. Periodic external Competitive ELISA at Murphy & Son, a UKAS accredited lab, validates the process. This beer certified below 10ppm in May 2026.
