A best bitter with beech wood-smoked malt, tested on every batch with dual R5 methods and certified below 20ppm. Two Great Taste stars and a Free From Gold suggests it holds its own beyond the GF category. A genuinely interesting bitter that happens to be rigorously tested.
Taste
A gentle, fruity, well rounded ale. Made with 8 malts and 3 different English hops, with a touch of beech wood smoked malt lending a faint smokiness, combined with just the right amount of bitterness.
