The Story

A Cumbrian brewery founded in 1999, now in Long Marton near Appleby. Every beer is independently laboratory-tested below 20ppm, which puts it ahead of breweries that only label gluten free. The range runs from session blondes to a vanilla stout.

GF approach: All beers are independently laboratory tested for due diligence to be below 20ppm of gluten. No enzyme name disclosed on public pages; papaya extract mentioned as a stabiliser trial (not a gluten-removal step). Analysis certificates for each brew held in trade area. All bottled and keg beers are also vegan friendly, filtered without traditional finnings.
