JIMBO is a 4.0% ABV Classic British Best Bitter that combines traditional and modern hop varieties to create a complex flavor profile featuring mixed berries and crisp apple notes, finished with a well-rounded nutty bitterness. This beer was selected by English Heritage to represent the best of English brewing through their prestigious estate, where it’s sold as English Heritage Best Bitter when served on cask.

Named in memory of Purity’s co-founder James “Jimbo” Minkin, who served as the company’s first Head Brewer and was instrumental in establishing Purity’s sustainability initiatives, including their passive wetland system. The beer features a unique hop variety named “Emperor” by Charles Faram in honor of Jimbo’s passion for Roman history. For every can sold, Purity donates 5p to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund (PCRF).
